MCLARO ORIGINAL was co-founded in 2012 by Swiss, French, and German watch designers Mesero, Qiriyaya, Yidelu Weinuosi, in addition to renowned Austrian jewelry designer Ophi Ser, and prominent figures from the Chinese watch industry. The company is headquartered in Hangzhou, China.

In 2012, MCLARO ORIGINAL was founded in Hangzhou, China, marking the initial completion of diamond craftsmanship；

In 2013, the first MCLARO ORIGINAL jewelry design and processing factory was established.

In 2015, with the assistance of an international team of watch designers and the support of domestic watch associations, MCLARO ORIGINAL began research on the production of precision watch instruments, drawing inspiration from experienced international watch designers. MCLARO watches began to sprout.

In 2016, after years of assistance in international watchmaking technology, the independent processing of watch components was completed. With stable management of its brands, the watch company was officially established to foster the development of precision instrument manufacturing.

In 2017, the MCLARO ORIGINAL watch research team designed and manufactured the first mechanical watch featuring a ruby bearing tourbillon. This remarkable timepiece seamlessly integrates the artistry of jewelry craftsmanship with the precision of mechanical engineering. After 8 months of meticulous design and conceptual refinement, as well as the mastery of intricate craftsmanship, the tourbillon was flawlessly incorporated into the watch case and dial, showcasing the pinnacle of horological craftsmanship.

In February 2018, MCLARO ORIGINAL created the first fully automatic mechanical watch with jewelry craftsmanship.

In 2020, MCLARO ORIGINAL launched the "BLACK SWAN" series watches, which made a strong impact on the domestic watch market, gradually capturing a portion of the domestic independent brand market.

In 2022, MCLARO ORIGINAL celebrated its tenth anniversary with the release of the "BLACK SWAN-S" series, representing the brand's first flagship watch.

In August 2023, Kaine, the CEO of Mclaro Original, was invited to join the Guangzhou Watch Association and took on the position of director-general.

In September, Mclaro Original was invited to participate in the Hong Kong International Watch & Clock Fair hosted by TDC in Hong Kong and was nominated for the Newcomer Brand award.

In October, Louis Vuitton design consultant Matteo Menotto collaborated with the Mclaro originaL brand to co-create the VI design and print design for the Mclaro originaL brand, and released the 2023 Mclaro originaL Dragon Year limited edition watch.

In November, Mclaro originaL reached the top of the watch industry on Douyin (TikTok China mainland), becoming a Douyin Key Account brand and a nationally recognized brand.

On December 13th, Mr. Zhang, the vice-chairman of MCLARO ORIGINAL, along with his team, was invited to attend the inaugural "Golden Child Award" Macau International Children's Film Festival award ceremony held in Macau. MCLARO ORIGINAL sponsored the "Golden Child Award" Macau International Children's Film Festival, contributing to a better future for children. During the event, the organizing committee conducted a charity auction of MCLARO ORIGINAL's collectible watch "Dragon in the Sky," with the proceeds going to the Macau International Children's Film Festival organizing committee (for children's groups in need of social care).

On December 17th, the 17th UAE China Export Brands Joint Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the "UAE Joint Exhibition") grandly opened at the Dubai World Trade Center.
